MOCK-PLUS: A Powerful Extension for Web Development and Testing
MOCK-PLUS is a Chrome extension developed by LUANMINGLI that allows developers to save, modify, and simulate HTTP request response data for seamless web development, testing, and demonstration of web apps. With the increasing complexity of web functionalities and longer business processes, debugging front-end code with real data has become more costly.
The main features of MOCK-PLUS include the ability to modify web requests at the network level without injecting any code into the web page. It does not modify the original XMLHttpRequest or fetch objects and allows developers to view corresponding data in the Network panel of the developer tools.
The extension inserts a panel in the developer tools tab, where developers can browse, modify, or create response data for saved requests. It also allows for mocking requests at any point during the web session and offers configurable options for effective domain requests and ignored request links.
MOCK-PLUS provides the ability to compare selected response data with real response data, add names to differentiate response data, and quickly switch response data in the popup panel. It also allows for saving and uploading complete configuration files for sharing purposes.
